(1) For the physical quantity electrical capacitance, the Fiji legal unit of measurement is the farad, symbol F.
(2) The farad is the electrical capacitance that exists between 2 conductors when the transfer of an electrical charge of one coulomb from one to the other charges the potential difference between them by one volt.
(3) When not in use for trade, permitted multiples and submultiples of the farad are the units specified in Table 25.
